Born and raised on the sunny streets of Los Angeles, Adina Mills is a proud native to L.A. As a young girl Adina was always drawn to the arts and quickly developed a reputation as a passionate artist. In the last ten years she has developed a unique style of art that is constantly shaped by her evolving relationship with the underground art community of Los Angeles. Having been a jewelry designer for much of her life, Adina has only recently transferred the funky, urban style of her artwork into her jewelry, hence creating ‘wearable art’. Her unique use of spray paint, collage materials, natural minerals, found objects, and sculpture is unlike any other jewelry design.
Adina believes that life is about transformation and creating spaces for oneself that encourage freedom and self-definition. She has always been pulled towards art that defies boundaries and challenges viewers to open their minds. Her passion for infusing this belief into her own art and jewelry design has significantly affected her work, and has led her to create something new and fresh. Her designs are funky and sophisticated. They transgress the limits of art while encouraging their wearers to redefine beauty and freedom for themselves.
